The Climate Action Initiative Summit & Earth Day Awards
The Climate Action Initiative Summit will convene South Africa’s leading policymakers, business leaders, financiers, youth activists and entrepreneurs for two days of high-level dialogue, practical workshops and innovation showcases that accelerate action on climate change. The Summit will align explicitly with UN Sustainable Development Goal 13 and the broader 2030 Agenda, focusing on mitigation, adaptation and climate finance across energy, industry and transport, water, agriculture, urban planning and nature-based solutions.
The Summit culminates in the Climate Action Initiative Earth Day Awards Dinner on 22 April 2026 — an evening that celebrates excellence, innovation and leadership in climate action across the continent.
